Fed Up & Fired Up: Crossover Check-in

Crossover Day marks the half-way point of the legislative session! It is the point when bills that have passed one chamber move to the other, and anything that has not passed is effectively dead for the year.

Join 603 Forward for a virtual Fed Up & Fired Up update where we will break down what made it through crossover and what it means for the issues our communities care about.

We will cover:

  • Which housing, voting rights, and affordability bills are still moving

  • What progress has been protected and where new challenges are emerging

  • What to expect as bills move from the House to the Senate and vice versa

  • Where advocacy can have the biggest impact in the second half of the session

This session will also include time for questions and discussion so participants can better understand what is happening at the State House and how to take meaningful action (like running for office).

If you’re trying to keep up with the legislative session, this event is designed to help you get oriented, informed, and ready to plug in.

Register to receive the Zoom link and join us on March 26.

Fed Up & Fired Up: North Country

May 17 | 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Mead Hill at Mount Cabot Maple – The Greenhouse
Lancaster, NH

Join neighbors from across the North Country for Fed Up & Fired Up, a community gathering focused on connection, conversation, and action.

If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed by politics or frustrated by the direction things are going, you’re not alone. This event is about bringing people together to talk about what’s happening locally and how we can turn that energy into meaningful action.

We’ll start by building community and hearing what people are experiencing in their towns. From there, we’ll move into two advocacy sessions focused on understanding what’s happening in New Hampshire policy, why local elections matter, and how to engage with your representatives.

We’ll also introduce the My State Rep tool, a simple way to find your representatives, see how they’re voting, and contact them about the issues you care about.

Lunch and childcare will be provided.

Come connect with neighbors, learn more about what’s happening in New Hampshire, and leave feeling a little more fired up.

Fed Up & Fired Up: North Hampton

Feeling fed up with politics but not sure what to do about it?

Join us at Throwback Brewery for a casual, one-hour gathering focused on demystifying New Hampshire’s legislature and showing how everyday people can hold their representatives accountable.

We’ll talk briefly about how state-level decisions affect our lives, walk through how to use our My State Rep Checker to find out who represents you and how they’ve been voting, and share real, accessible ways to take action that fit your capacity.

This is a low-pressure, community-centered space. Come grab a drink, learn something new, and connect with others who care about building accountability and representation in New Hampshire.
