We’ll be calling Granite State voters to educate them about a package of bills moving through the legislature and connect them to their lawmakers to ask they SUPPORT our pro-housing package.
No experience is required, we’ll provide all the training and resources you need!
A little information on the bills we’ll be talking about:
Legalize Starter Homes (SB84) sets baseline minimum lot sizes for a majority of land zoned to permit single-family homes. The lot size depends on whether a lot has access to municipal water and sewer infrastructure.
ADU’s By-right (HB 577) will allow homeowners to build accessory dwelling units (ADUs) more easily, creating affordable options for seniors, retirees, and young people.
Homes Near Jobs (HB 631-FN) will open commercial zones to housing, ensuring workers can live closer to their jobs while fostering vibrant, walkable communities.
Parking Reform (HB 382) will eliminate costly parking mandates that drive up development costs, making it more feasible to build the homes New Hampshire desperately needs.
By passing these bills, we can reduce housing costs, create more diverse and accessible communities, and ensure that New Hampshire remains a great place to live and work for generations to come.
