Protect Granite Staters from Harmful Data Centers
Tell your State Representative to Oppose SB439
Data centers are popping up across the country and research has repeatedly shown that they have detrimental health effects on communities.
Large data centers pollute our air and water, occupy vast amounts of land, and increase energy consumption. At a time when utility costs are already sky rocketing, we should not be encouraging facilities that would only exacerbate costs for every day Granite Staters.
In its original form, this bill intended to give NH municipalities the power to regulate data centers. As amended, this bill opens the door for less stringent regulations on data centers, making it easier for a large corporation to come in and irrevocably change our beautiful communities.
