Next Generation of Leadership Honored at Forward Fest
NEW HAMPSHIRE – From local neighborhoods to statewide initiatives, inspiring leaders across New Hampshire are proving that progress is possible when young and working age voices step up to lead. This year, ten honorees will be celebrated by 603 Forward and The Forward Foundation at Forward Fest on October 2, 2025 at the Currier Museum of Art.
Forward Fest honors the everyday act of stepping up, listening, and making a difference where you are. Honorees were chosen from a competitive group of nominees who listen to community hopes or concerns and organize into action. From State Representatives to nonprofit leaders, parents to grassroots organizers, these honorees reflect the next generation of leadership shaping New Hampshire's future:

Rosie Emrich, Hooksett
Heidi Carrington Heath, Exeter
Grace Kindeke, Manchester

“It’s important to celebrate the real change happening when everyday people step up to serve and advocate for their communities. We might not read about the actions of these leaders in the newspaper or online, but it is their work that will make direct positive change for working people in New Hampshire. At a time when lawmakers are passing policies that raise costs, cut healthcare, and weaken our schools, it’s powerful to be reminded that people demanding better can create real change in New Hampshire,” said Julianne Gadoury, Executive Director of 603 Forward and The Forward Foundation.
Forward Fest features an evening of music, connection, and recognition in one of New Hampshire’s most iconic cultural spaces. Tickets to Forward Fest can be purchased online by visiting www.forwardfest2025.com
