Support an Efficient Voting System
Tell your State Representative to Support SB 438
Under New Hampshire’s new voter registration scheme, registering to vote has become more burdensome and complicated. SB 438 will help voters who have already proven their age, identity, citizenship, or domicile if they do not have all of their documents on hand.
This bill would allow the Department of Safety and the Secretary of State to share data for the purpose of verifying the accuracy of information in the centralized voter registration database.
While we continue to have accessibility concerns with our voting system, it is vital to cut down on the number of voters being turned away. SB 438 will help many Granite Staters exercise their freedom to vote, and aid our poll workers on Election Day.
