Take Action for Voting Rights!

What’s happening?
The latest in the package of anti-voter bills moving through the legislature, SB213, will be in the House Election Law Committee Tuesday, April 22. . This bill makes it harder to register + vote by mail, imposing unnecessary restrictions that could silence the voices of:

  • Voters with disabilities

  • Working parents juggling a job and responsibilities at home

  • People in rural communities with limited access to polling places

How could this affect you?

  • Restricted access to absentee voting

  • Tighter rules around ballot eligibility and submission

  • More confusion in registering and voting

Absentee voting is available to those who are unable to vote in person for a variety of legitimate reasons. These bills will cause confusion and create barriers to Granite Staters’ ability to vote absentee, disenfranchising you, working parents, caregivers and elderly.

Why it matters:
When politicians try to make it harder for some to vote, they are trying to control who has a say in our future. We cannot stand by and let this happen. Everyone deserves equal access to the polls—whether in person or absentee.

Bottom line: we should be expanding access to voting, not restricting it.
