2026 Town Election Winners

These races decide how our schools are funded, how housing gets built, what our tax dollars support, and who represents us in the rooms where everyday decisions are made. From Select Boards and School Boards to Budget Committees and Planning Boards, town officials shape the future of our communities in real, immediate ways.

213 towns across New Hampshire headed to the polls for Town Meeting Day on March 10. Thank you to everyone who stepped up to run and congratulations to the newly elected local leaders who will be serving their communities.

The work isn’t over yet, Conway and Merrimack will hold elections in April and six more vote in May, meaning there are still opportunities for voters to make their voices heard and for candidates to step up.

So far this filing season, we’ve seen 103 young candidates across the state, including 37 who came through 603 Forward trainings, step up to lead in their communities.

Local leadership matters, and this growing pipeline of young leaders is proof that the future of our communities is bright. Meet the candidates who were elected this Town Meeting Day Season. Results from April and May town elections will be updated after the elections.
